Jaegersborg Dyrehave

A 20 minute train ride from the city center sits an impressive and huge park, 1000+ hectares (2471.05 acres) run by the National Forest and Nature Agency of Denmark. It is full of deer. I only saw 2 species, the Red and Fallow Deer. Apparently there are "Sika" deer as well, but I don't believe I saw any. Nice little morning excursion! I will likely be making repeat visits as my stay continues.

Update: Marianne, the local wealth of knowledge and hospitality provided through the scan design foundation had this to add to my note on Dyrehaven:
Eremitageslottet (Hermit'scastle. Unfortunately not open to the public but once a year) - a woderful rococco gem of a castle from about 1754 (famous Danish architects designed the building) The hunting quarters of centuries of Danish Kings. And a well is out there, too - 'Kirsten Piils kilde', the origin of it all, a place where the public would go with their containers to get 'holy water' (very close to the amusement park that dates way back to the 1600s). It's still there and a restaurant right next to it carrying the name. 'BAKKEN' used to just be a fair and market for the people and then gradually grew into a lot of other amusement stuff.
